Chicken Burger Recipe:
For the Buns:
- 1 cup lukewarm milk (200 ml)
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 packet instant yeast (5 g)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
- For brushing: 1 egg yolk, 1 tablespoon milk, sesame seeds
For the Chicken Filling:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 150g sliced provolone cheese
- 100g shredded cheddar cheese
Pavlova Recipe:
- 2 egg whites
- 1 teacup granulated sugar
- A pinch of salt
- For Topping: 100 ml cold heavy cream, 1 tablespoon powdered sugar, orange segments, pomegranate seeds, edible flowers
Preparation:
Begin by preparing the burger buns. In a bowl, combine flour, milk, sugar, salt, and yeast. Knead until a dough forms. Add softened butter and knead again until smooth. Cover with a clean cloth and let it rise for 1 hour.
For the pavlova, whip egg whites, sugar, and salt on high speed until stiff peaks form. Transfer to a piping bag and pipe onto a baking sheet-lined Airfryer basket. Create a slight indentation in the center of each pavlova.
Place the chicken breasts in the second basket of the Airfryer. Cook the pavlovas at 100°C (212°F) for 45 minutes and the chicken at 180°C (356°F) for 15 minutes.
Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the Airfryer and shred it. Mix the shredded chicken with salt, spices, ketchup, and mayonnaise.
Divide the risen dough into 9 equal portions for the buns. Place the baked pavlovas aside and arrange the dough portions in the Airfryer basket. Brush the tops of the dough with the egg yolk and milk mixture and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Let them rise for another 30 minutes, then bake at 180°C (356°F) for 15 minutes.
Slice the baked buns in half. Layer with provolone cheese, cheddar cheese, and the chicken filling. Close the buns and bake for an additional 5 minutes at 180°C (356°F).
Whip the cold cream and powdered sugar until thickened. Top the pavlovas with the whipped cream and garnish with orange segments, pomegranate seeds, and edible flowers. Enjoy your delicious creations!
