Ingredients for the Milk Pudding Base:

  • 1 liter milk
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 110 g granulated sugar (2 fingers short of 1 cup)
  • 40 g white chocolate (optional)

Ingredients for the Chocolate Sauce:

  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1.5 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 60 g dark chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Preparation Method:

For the Pudding: Melt the butter in a suitable saucepan. Add the flour and sauté over low heat while stirring until fragrant. Gradually add the milk and sugar, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens. Once the pudding thickens and bubbles appear, remove it from the heat and stir in the white chocolate (if using). Divide the prepared pudding equally into serving cups.

For the Sauce: In a separate saucepan, whisk together the milk, cocoa, flour, sugar, and egg yolk. Cook, stirring, until the sauce thickens. Remove the thickened chocolate sauce from the heat and mix in the butter and dark chocolate until fully melted. Pour the ready chocolate sauce evenly over the puddings in the cups.

Serving: Place the desserts in the refrigerator to chill and set. Garnish as desired before serving. Enjoy!
